After 6 pm.
The sky is getting dark. Dong Xuebing returned to his apartment. Sister Xu is arriving, and he quickly enters the kitchen to prepare dinner.

Ring… ring… ring… Dong Xuebing’s phone rang. It was Xu Yan, and he answered quickly. “Hello, Sister Xu. How was it?”
Xu Yan replied. “Are you at home?”
“Yes. Where are you?” Dong Xuebing asked.
“Downstairs. I am coming up now.” Xu Yan hung up.
A while later, someone knocked on the door lightly.
It was dark outside. Dong Xuebing saw Xu Yan, in a blouse and long skirt, outside when he opened the door. She looked unhappy.
Dong Xuebing quickly stepped aside to let him enter.
Xu Yan entered the apartment and put down her handbag. She saw the cold food on the table and turned to Dong Xuebing. “Didn’t I ask you to have dinner first?”
Dong Xuebing replied. “I am not hungry.”
Xu Yan looked at him and sighed. She patted the back of his hand and said. “Sorry to make you wait for me. Let’s eat. I am hungry, too.”
“Ok. I will heat the food.”
“Let me do it.”
“No… you must be tired today.”
Dong Xuebing had no microwave in the apartment, so he had to heat it over the stove.
Xu Yan looked at the food on the table and said. “Thank you.”
“Don’t mention it.” Dong Xuebing sat at the table and started eating after Xu Yan ate. He ate fast as he was starving. His mood improved after seeing Sister Xu, and he felt the hunger.
Xu Yan saw him stuffing his face, and she put some food into his bowl.
“Eat slowly.”
“Hmm… Hmm… You should eat, too.”
“I am eating. It’s delicious.”
“Haha… does it suit your taste?”
Xu Yan offered to clear the dishes after dinner.
Dong Xuebing did not let her do the dishes. He washed the dishes with one hand. Although he can move his hands, his wounds cannot get wet. He likes to take care of others. After the dishes were done.
Dong Xuebing walked out of the kitchen.
Xu Yan looked at Dong Xuebing tenderly.

Xu Yan held Dong Xuebing’s hand. “I was feeling down when I came. But I feel much better after seeing you. This is the first time someone waited for me to have dinner, and you waited almost six hours.”

“There’s a saying. There will always be someone who can comfort you when you feel down. You are the one who can comfort me. But you are a bit too young.” Xu Yan said.
Dong Xuebing asked. “Is it about the custody? How is it?”
Xu Yan replied slowly. “They are processing, and we need to attend court a few months later.”
“Isn’t that good? Zhaozhao wants to stay with you, and the court will consider that.” Dong Xuebing consoled.
Xu Yan nodded and smiled. “It’s almost midnight. Let’s go. We…” She paused for a second. “Let’s sleep.”
“We are sleeping now?”
“Yes. What’s wrong?”
“Are you troubled?”
“No.”
“Why don’t you talk to me about it?”
“It’s late. Let’s talk about it tomorrow.”
Dong Xuebing could tell Sister Xu was troubled. But she is not Yu Meixia. She is a strong and mature woman. He will not get anything from her if she does not want to talk about it. He stopped asking. Since the court is processing her custody case, nothing else can trouble her too much.
They went to the bathroom to wash up.
Xu Yan used Dong Xuebing’s toothbrush and face towel.

Dong Xuebing said. “This is a small apartment. Please bear with it.”
Xu Yan replied. “My old house is smaller than your apartment. I grew up in poverty, too.”
Dong Xuebing was slightly embarrassed. “If I knew you were coming, I would stay at Xi Shan Villa.”
“It’s fine. This apartment might be smaller, but it is cozy. The villa is too big, giving me chills to sleep there.”
“Yes. You are right.”
“Let’s take off our clothes and sleep.”
Dong Xuebing knew Xu Yan was not in a good mood and did not try to do anything funny with her. He took off his clothes and got under the blanket. He was looking forward to sleeping with her.
The bedside lamp was still on, and Xu Yan started stripping.
She bent and unzipped her long skirt and sat on the bed. Her ass was only an arm’s length away from Dong Xuebing. He could smell her scent. He lay there and looked at her, picking up her skirt and placing it on a chair’s backrest. Afterward, she took off her black stockings slowly.

Dong Xuebing lay on the bed, admiring Xu Yan taking off her clothes.
When Xu Yan was about to unbutton her blouse, she turned. “Switch off the lights.”
“Let’s leave it on.”
“Switch it off.”

Dong Xuebing switched off the bedside lamp.
The room was dark, and Dong Xuebing could not see anything.
Dong Xuebing could hear clothes rustling in the dark.
A while later, he felt Xu Yan getting on the bed.
The blanket was lifted slightly, and a nice-smelling body got under it.
The bed was small, and it was cramped.
Xu Yan’s hair fell onto Dong Xuebing’s face, and it was ticklish.
