I really like Extraordinary Genius and find it a good novel.
I know a lot of people think of it as a political/praise China novel and all, but you just have to know that China is not like a European Country or the US. Things are radically different and having a point of view different to the party may not result in a bad manner… and it does translate to the novels written there, the more so with those in modern setup. To not have some element of boot liking may result in a ban, as simple as that.
Writers need money too, and they also need to respond to their own home readers wants in a way…
If the setting was in the US, would we have the same critics? Yes, from China readers.
I liked the poor to rich setting. I learned a lot of things from China recent history and reforms from this novel, and things from big economic crises.
Yes it’s a wish fulfilling novel and who would not want to be the protagonist.

You did an excellent work of it (not like the machine translation we can see everywhere nowadays).
I hope to see the chapters remaining also translated by you in the future.
No novels are perfect, but it does not mean they should not be finished…

Question tho, will you translate another novel? I mean you translating 2 novel at the time. So I hope there’s another one besides power and wealth when this series stopped. And I hope the genre was still the same ‘go back, make money!’.

Hi, I think the author of the book trying to make a idealistic world but in the second half of the novel the nacionalism is really a headache, but the ecomic information is really good, that is the best of the novel.
I really recommend you to translate the novel “Holy Roman Empire”, you can find a teaser in Webnovel by qdian. Is the best novel of it’s genre.
