Next day.
The sun was up.
The temperature in the forest of Ma Yang County was lower. The dew on the dried grass froze. A few sparrows were chirping on the roof of the Audi. Suddenly, the Audi moved, and the sparrows flew away.
Inside the car.
Dong Xuebing woke up. His eyes were closed, and he yawned and stretched. He felt someone beside him and quickly opened his eyes. He turned and saw a woman’s naked back beside him. The car was messy with bra, underwear, clothes, socks, etc. He took a deep breath and remembered everything.
He had made love with Sister Xu yesterday!
Damn! I am in trouble now!
Dong Xuebing looked terrible and dared not move as their bodies were against each other on the narrow backseats of the Audi. He wished he could wear his clothes and escape immediately. But Xu Yan would wake up if he moved and they were in the outskirts. How is he going to get home without a car? He thought for a while and gave up the idea of running away. He consoled himself by telling himself it was Sister Xu who initiated it. Moreover, both of them were drunk. Dong Xuebing ah… Dong Xuebing… why didn’t you control yourself?
Dong Xuebing looked at his watch. It was almost 8 am.
What should I do? Xu Yan would kill me when she woke up.
Dong Xuebing was anxious but felt good after the passionate night with Xu Yan. He smacked his lips when he recalled what happened yesterday. He felt her butt pressing against his thighs and smelled her scent. He enjoyed this feeling and relaxed.
Suddenly, a phone rang.
Ring… ring… ring…. Dong Xuebing got shocked.
Dong Xuebing quickly reached over to Xu Yan to get his phone and rejected the call. He turned and looked at her; she looked like she was still sleeping.
Dong Xuebing was relieved and looked at the caller’s number. It was Inspection Second Office Director Liao Huaxiong. He thought for a while and returned the call.
Director Liao answered.
Dong Xuebing said softly. “Hello, Director Liao.”
“Director Dong. Why are you not at the hotel?”
“Ah? Oh, I got to do something.”
“It’s about today’s work assignment. We are in groups and are waiting for you.”
“Ok. Split the groups into different locations in Ma Yang County. Don’t inform the local authorities. I will call you all when I return.”
“Alright.”
“Ok. Bye.”
Dong Xuebing put his phone aside and wondered if he should wear his clothes back first. He was about to get up when Xu Yan stirred.
Dong Xuebing’s heart skipped a beat, and he froze.
Xu Yan woke up, and she rubbed her forehead. She frowned and looked like she had a headache. Suddenly she paused and seemed to realize something. She touched her chest and legs and jolted. She opened her eyes and looked around before stopping at Dong Xuebing’s face.
Dong Xuebing stuttered. “You are awake.”
Xu Yan looked at the topless Dong Xuebing and saw they were cuddling together. She tapped her forehead with her knuckles a few times.
Dong Xuebing was embarrassed and quickly apologized. “You were drunk last night, and doing it…. I am not trying to deny responsibility. I am at fault and should not have done it…. I…. How about I let you beat me up?”
Xu Yan massaged the center of her brows. “We did it?”
“Ah…. Yes.” Dong Xuebing nodded.
“I took the initiative after I got drunk?”
“Yes…. But I am also responsible for what happened.”
Xu Yan closed her eyes for a while and waved her hand. “Alright. Stop talking about it. I am starting to remember what happened. Sigh…. What had come over me?”
Dong Xuebing apologized. “I’m sorry.”
Xu Yan shook her head and asked. “What time is it now?”
“It is almost 8 am. Are you getting up?” Dong Xuebing slapped his forehead. What was he asking? Did he want her to continue to cuddle with him? He immediately sat up and grabbed his pants to cover his legs. “I will get your clothes for you.”
Xu Yan got up and tidied her long wavy hair silently.
Dong Xuebing knew Sister Xu might be angry and was worried. He quickly picked up all her clothes and gave them to her.
Xu Yan covered herself with her blouse and exhaled loudly.
“What’s wrong?” Dong Xuebing asked. “Are you feeling unwell?”
Xu Yan pointed to her head. “I have a bad hangover.”
Dong Xuebing asked cautiously. “How about let’s get some breakfast together? You should feel better.”
Xu Yan looked outside and could hear vehicles passing by the roads outside. “Let’s wear our clothes first. We will be finished if we are seen.”
“Yes…. I will get dressed outside.”
“It’s cold outside. Just do it in the car.”
“Err…. I will close my eyes, and you get dressed first.”
Xu Yan did not avoid Dong Xuebing and wore her clothes before him. “We had done everything last night, and you had seen and touched everything. What’s there to be embarrassed? Hurry and get dressed.” She lifted her butt and pulled up her pants.
Dong Xuebing blushed and quickly wore back his clothes.
A few minutes later.
Both of them were dressed and returned to the front seats.
Xu Yan sat in the front passenger seat. “I have a bad headache. You drive.”
“Ok. Where should we get breakfast? Do you want me to send you back to the City first?”
“Go to the County town center first.” Xu Yan said and closed her eyes.
Dong Xuebing looked at Sister Xu’s expression and drove out of the forest onto the main road.
Quiet….
Dong Xuebing could not hold back after ten minutes. “You can scold or hit me. Just don’t keep quiet. I feel bad for what happened.” He slowed down. “There’s no one around. You can kick me if it can make you feel better. I promise I will not retaliate.”
Xu Yan waved. “Why should I be angry with you?”
“But I…. yesterday….”
“I am angry with myself. How can I do something like this at my age? I had disgraced myself in front of you.”
“No…. what are you saying?”
“What did I say yesterday?”
“Huh? You were telling me about your problems at home.”
“I remembered this. What else did I say after I was drunk?”
“Err…. Nothing.” Dong Xuebing dared not to tell her the truth. “You did not say anything.”
Xu Yan stared into Dong Xuebing’s eyes. “Stop lying to me. Tell me every word I said.”
Dong Xuebing wiped the sweat on his forehead and hesitated for a few seconds. “Err…. You asked me… if I find you attractive and interested in you. After that…. You… said you are in a bad mood and wants to let loose of yourself… and you….”
Xu Yan interrupted. “You don’t need to continue. I remembered what happened next.” She sighed and mumbled to herself. “What was I saying?”
Dong Xuebing comforted her. “I knew you well and knew you were drunk. I was also drunk, and we…. I would never do it if…. It’s all my fault. I knew you were drunk, and yet I…. I should not have taken advantage of you in that situation. Please beat me up. I will feel better.”
“Why should I hit you?” Xu Yan sighed. “This had nothing to do with you. I was acting crazy after drinking, and I took the initiative. This incident…. Let’s keep this to ourselves. It will affect both of us badly. Do you understand?”
“Don’t worry. I will not tell anyone.” Dong Xuebing promised. He is not someone who brags about the women he slept with. Furthermore, he dares not to tell anyone because of Xie Huilan. Xie Huilan, Qu Yunxuan, and his mum will kill him if they know he has slept with Sister Xu.
“Good. Let’s have breakfast first.” Xu Yan said.
“Alright.” Dong Xuebing stepped on the accelerator and increased the speed.
Dong Xuebing knew this incident was not as serious as he expected from Sister Xu’s expression. She should not get mad over what happened, and he was relieved.
