Jiang Fangfang looked at herself in the mirror and said. “The color and design is nice. It matches well with this pair of pants. I like it. Thank you.”
Dong Xuebing smiled. “I’m glad you like it.”
Jiang Fangfang took off the blazer and kept it. “Thank you.”
“Don’t mention it. You gave me a belt, too.” Dong Xuebing said. “I wanted to get a belt, and I got one now.”
They sat on the couch.
The box of underwear was on the coffee table. Dong Xuebing felt awkward when he saw it. He tried to change the subject. “Did you call me back for tomorrow’s Party Committee meeting?”
Jiang Fangfang nodded. “Yes.”
Dong Xuebing asked. “Are we going to decide how we will use the funds from the Central Government?”
Jiang Fangfang nodded. “I asked Xiao Li to check out the townships these few days. We consolidated some data and understood the situation of the towns. The old saying, ‘build roads first if you want to get rich,’ is true. But we cannot make the towns and villages wealthy overnight. It will increase their standard of living slightly.
