Xie Jing nodded. “All of them were caught last night.”
Xia Yanzhen nodded and squeezed her daughter’s hand. “Xia Kai is a good man. Stay around to take care of him. Not many people will risk their lives for their students.”
Xie Jing smiled embarrassedly and glanced at Dong Xuebing. “No… Sun Kai is nothing when compared to Brother-in-law.”
Xia Yanzhen smiled. “Stop comparing Sun Kai to your Brother-in-law. Who can compare with him?
Dong Xuebing waved his hand. “Why are you getting me involved?”
“I heard you did the surgery.” Xia Yanzhen looked at Dong Xuebing. “I didn’t know you knew surgeries. I heard some nurses talking about you and calling you Doctor Dong and Miracle Doctor.”
Dong Xuebing quickly explained. “No… I learned some basics for a few days.”
Xia Yanzhen laughed. “Stop explaining. I might be shocked if I don’t know you. But I am numb to your surprises now. You are Dong Xuebing. I am not surprised with whatever you did.”
