Everyone in the City State Security Bureau inhaled loudly.
Those standing by the windows almost fell. The Deputy Chiefs and other City Bureau Leaders were stunned.

Why did he call him Mum?

Zhen Anguo, Tan Limei, and the Western Branch staff were dumbfounded. They knew Dong Xuebing might be related to Secretary Xie. But they did not expect him to call Madam Han, Mum. They could accept him calling her Aunt. Why are you calling her Mum?

This City Bureau fell into silence.
Everyone waited for Madam Han’s reply.
Dong Xuebing walked to Han Jing.
Han Jing smiled and looked at Minister Lui. She patted Dong Xuebing’s arm. “This is my son-in-law, Old Lui. Have you all met?”
Son-in-law?
This guy is Secretary Xie’s son-in-law?
The City Bureau Deputy Chiefs felt a chill down their spines.
Those watching from the office buildings could not accept it.
Xu Yan did not go over. She looked at Dong Xuebing and Han Jing and was not surprised.

Everyone could not believe this uncouth hooligan was Secretary Xie and Madam Han’s son-in-law. There’s no justice anymore.
Minister Lui looked at Dong Xuebing and replied. “I met Xiao Bing when he was with Western Branch. I almost died there if not for his medicine.”
Han Jing was surprised. “Oh, something like this happened?”
Minister Lui said. “Xiao Bing… not bad. But today…”
Han Jing smiled and interrupted. “I heard what happened. Sigh… It’s just a dispute and a fight between these youngsters. It’s normal. However, this brat was too rash today. I will reprimand him after we go back.”
Minister Lui said. “This…”
“I will get someone to send the medical fees.” Han Jing said. “This is not an official business and did not involve any confidential documents. No arrest is needed. It’s just a fight between two people. Of course, we should not encourage such incidents. I will teach him a lesson at home.”
Everyone kept quiet.
Han Jing turned and said. “Let’s go, Xiao Bing.”
Dong Xuebing nodded and followed Han Jing into the car obediently.
The driver closed the door for them and drove away.
The Audi A8 drove out of the City Bureau, and no one dared to say anything.

That is Secretary Xie’s wife.
Even Minister Lui cannot do anything. Madam Han came in Secretary Xie’s car and sent a strong message. Who dares to touch her son-in-law? Who dares to stop the Party Committee Secretary’s car?

Minister Lui looked at him. “What?”
Jiang Song paused for a second and sighed.
That’s right. Madam Han had shown her attitude. What else can they do other than letting him go?
Secretary Xie’s son-in-law? Where did Secretary Xie find this son-in-law? Everyone was speechless and knew Wang Shen was beaten up for nothing.
Minister Lui looked at Jiang Song. “Today’s incident will end here. Xiao Dong is young and tends to be impulsive. He makes mistakes, and we should not penalize him for that. We must give young men like him a chance to repent. You might not know this. Xiao Dong had made significant contributions to the country and almost died. We must be gracious towards a patriotic and capable young man.”
Jiang Song could only listen.
“All right. I should go now.” Minister Lui said.
“Let me send you, Old Leader.” Jiang Song followed.
Minister Lui waved his hand and got into his car. He suddenly remembered something and glanced at Xu Yan. He waved Jiang Song over. “Her name is Xu Yan, right? I need to visit the hospital now. Can you help me arrange lunch with her at noon?”
Jiang Song was surprised. “Lunch?”
Minister Lui turned to his driver. “Let’s go.”
The car started, and Minister Lui left the City Bureau.
Everyone’s reactions were different. Some were still in shock, and some were silent.
Jiang Song returned and instructed the Deputy Chiefs.
They must clear Dong Xuebing’s mess.
Along a street.
Inside the Audi. Dong Xuebing and Han Jing sat in the rear passenger seats.
The driver drove the car and did not say anything. He did not even blink. From his temperament, he should be Madam Han’s bodyguard.
“Mum.” Dong Xuebing looked at Han Jing. “Sorry to make you come here today. It’s my fault.”
Han Jing looked at him. “Do you know what you did wrong?”
“I know.” Dong Xuebing replied.
Han Jing asked slowly. “Then tell me what did you wrong.”
Dong Xuebing cleared his throat and said. “I should not barge into the City State Security Bureau to look for Wang Shen. I should wait outside and beat him up when he comes out.”
The bodyguard’s lips twitched, and almost laughed out.
Han Jing was amused and pointed at him. “You ah… you are just thinking of beating others. When can you mature?”
Dong Xuebing smiled.
Ring… ring… ring… Han Jing’s phone rang.
Han Jing looked at her phone and smiled at Dong Xuebing. “It’s your Dad.”
Dong Xuebing got nervous. He is not scared of Han Jing, but he fears Xie Guobang. “This…”
“Don’t worry. I am around. He will not scold you.” Han Jing patted his hand.
Han Jing answered, and Xie Guobang asked. “My car is under repair. Why did you drive it out?”
Han Jing looked at Dong Xuebing and said. “I was bored at home and went out for a spin. The car is fine and can be driven.” She tried to cover up for her son-in-law.
But Xie Guobang said. “I am not deaf. Do you think I don’t know what Xiao Bing did?”

Xie Guobang said nothing about Dong Xuebing and asked about his injuries.
