Four shots were fired, and four men were dead.
Dong Xuebing’s marksmanship stunned Yao Shun, Old Hong, and Zhang Longjuan.
This is not shooting at a firing range, and Dong Xuebing is not using a sniper rifle. He used a handgun and fired four shots from the woods. They could not even see the targets, and those soldiers were dead.

However, he felt all his past glories were nothing compared to Dong Xuebing. He recalled they said Dong Xuebing was not good with guns earlier and was embarrassed.
If Dong Xuebing is not good with guns, then no one in this world is good with them.
Dong Xuebing could even hit four targets in a moving car with a handgun!

Dong Xuebing kept the weapons he needed. He only kept a rifle, handguns, and bullets. He turned to Yao Shun. “Do you still want to go with me?” He had not planned to show off but knew he must do this alone. His powers can only protect himself, and he must rescue someone. He had no time to take care of another person. He had used some of his ‘time’ and might not have enough.
Yao Shun kept quiet.
Old Hong was quiet too.
Dong Xuebing is a super marksman and has out-of-this-world close combat. He can even dodge bullets. They would be a burden to him if they followed. They are not on the same level now. Although Yao Shun is proud, he must admit he would only create more problems for Dong Xuebing if he went.
Old Hong said. “But the soldiers stationed at the research center….”
Dong Xuebing replied. “I know. They heard the commotion here, and I will not get the chance to go if I don’t go now.” Dong Xuebing looked at Zhang Longjuan and said. “You got to leave now. I beg you.”
Zhang Longjuan replied. “But what about you?”
“I will not die. Don’t worry.” Dong Xuebing replied.
Zhang Longjuan looked at him thoughtfully. “Fine. Promise me that you will return immediately if you cannot save her.”
“I know.” Dong Xuebing said.
Zhang Longjuan looked at Yao Shun. “Xiao Yao.”
Yao Shun clenched his teeth and said. “Let’s go!”
Dong Xuebing nodded. “Take care. We will meet again.”
Yao Shun looked at him. “We will be fine. They had not cordoned off the area, and we could still escape. You got to be careful.”
“I know.” Dong Xuebing said.
Old Hong said. “Xiao Dong, thank you.”
Dong Xuebing nodded. “I will try my best to bring Zhong Lizhen back.”
“Most importantly, you return alive.” Zhang Longjuan interrupted.
Dong Xuebing smiled. “I still want to bring you to eat BBQ ribs. I will return safely. Don’t worry.”
Yao Shun looked around and decided in a direction. “Ms. Zhang, Old Hong, let’s go.”
Dong Xuebing stood there and watched them leave. He was observing if any soldiers had gone after them. He would stop any soldiers if there were any and help him escape.
One minute passed….
Five minutes passed….
Maybe Dong Xuebing had killed more than ten soldiers, and the military moved cautiously. No one has caught up with them yet. He looked towards the research center and started walking quickly. He needs to save Zhong Lizhen as soon as possible.
The other side of the woods.
A dirt road.
Yao Shun, Old Hong, and Zhang Longjuan were running away from the woods when they saw a car speeding toward them. Old Hong got nervous, but Yao Shun told him it was fine.
The car stopped. The young driver got out of the car.
“Boss, what happened to you all?” This man had rushed here to fetch them.
“Let’s talk on our way. Hurry, we got to leave before they seal the roads.” Yao Shun and the rest quickly got into the car.
The driver got into the driver’s seat and started speeding away. “Let’s go by the small roads. It’s safer than the highways.”
“Ok.” Yao Shun replied, taking out his handphone to contact his higher-ups.
Ring… ring… ring…. “Hello, I am Yao Shun.”
A middle-aged man said. “I know. How’s the operation?”
Yao Shun said. “The military discovered us.”
“How is the casualty rate?” That man raised his voice.
“We got no casualty. A comrade saved us, and I don’t know who he is. But I am sure he is Chinese and here to save Zhong Lizhen too.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes.”
“The higher-ups did not send anyone else.”
“What about the military?”
“They also did not send anyone recently. Who is this guy?”
Yao Shun replied. “He said he is not from the State Security or the military. But how can he be ordinary with his combat skills and marksmanship?”
“Tell me what happened.”
“He killed eight fully armed soldiers with two steak knives and can predict the trajectory of bullets. He managed to dodge every bullet and could shoot four soldiers in a moving jeep with a handgun.
