Pit bulls are not for fighting. Yes, they are very good at it, but they can be very good family dogs as well. They simply have a bad reputation because people who don’t know how to raise and train dogs buy them because it’s “cool” and “badass”.
My mother bred rotwielers since before I was born and they are also considered aggressive dogs. Never got bit. I remember riding them like ponies and pulling their ears and be generally a little ass like most young kids are to dogs and never got bit. Train a dog well and it won’t matter the breed it is.
