To buy AMD’s shares, Feng Yu had no choice but to buy the non-voting shares from those shareholders. All the shareholders want to sell their non-voting shares and want to keep their voting shares. Luckily, Microsoft was sued for monopolization and was forced to release their source codes. They claimed this is to help other companies to develop operating systems. But this is bullshit. How can other companies develop operating systems based on so few source codes?
At most, some companies can develop modifications and improvements to the codes. Still, in the end, these will be sold to Microsoft. This is equivalent to Microsoft, giving out some of their codes and getting a group of software developers to work for them without paying them salaries.
